You know damn well I was joking..” the reality star wrote. Erika Jayne claims she was joking about friends PK and Dorit Kemsley’s potential split. Instagram/theprettymess Over the weekend, Jayne predicted her “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” co-stars would be the next Bravolebrities to divorce during a panel at BravoCon. George Will pleads with Dems not to run 'past his prime' Biden, 'unqualified' Harris in '24

Image
Venerable columnist George Will begged Democrats Wednesday not to allow President Biden or Vice President Kamala Harris to seek the White House in 2024, warning that nominating either would “insult and imperil the nation.” “Biden is not just past his prime; even adequacy is in his past,” Will wrote in the Washington Post. The 81-year-old Will, a longtime Republican who left the party in 2016 after Donald Trump won its presidential nomination, voted for Biden in 2020, and describes himself as “unaffiliated,” said the president’s false statement last month that the student loan forgiveness plan was passed by Congress marked a breaking point. “Meeting recently with some progressive activists, Biden said his $426 billion student loan forgiveness was accomplished by ’a law’ that he had ’just signed’: ’I got it passed by a vote or two.’ No. He. Did. Not,” Will wrote in the column. ”Biden was not merely again embellishing his ach...

Donald Trump files another lawsuit against NY AG Letitia James

Image
Former President Donald Trump filed a lawsuit against New York Attorney General Letitia James in Florida on Wednesday, accusing her of abusing her position to wage a “war of intimidation and harassment” against him. The 41-page lawsuit filed in Palm Beach County, where Trump lives, accuses James of breaking the law in Florida and New York in her investigation into the former president’s business dealings, which he claims was politically motivated ahead of the 2022 midterm elections. “What began as a cartoonish, thinly-veiled effort to publicly malign President Trump for personal political gain has morphed into a plot to obtain control of a global private enterprise ultimately owned by a Florida revocable trust in which President Trump is the settlor,” Trump’s attorneys wrote in Wednesday’s lawsuit . James sued Trump, his kids Eric, Ivanka and Donald Trump Jr., and the Trump Organization for $250 million in September, alleging “staggering” fraud ...

Donald Trump deejays Mar-A-Lago party as Ivanka celebrates birthday

Image
Just call him DJ Donald? Donald Trump deejayed his own Halloween party at Mar-A-Lago Monday, sources exclusively told Tausi Insider. “The former president played DJ from his dinner table with his iPad,” a source said of the “wild” Palm Beach, Fla., celebration. The insider added that the 76-year-old “Apprentice” alum was “playing mostly ‘80s music that got everyone dancing.” He also played “Phantom of the Opera” loudly, which even had some elderly guests privately grousing, we hear. The source revealed The Donald dressed as himself for the holiday bash and was in top form greeting guests who all encouraged him to announce he’s running for president again in 2024 — but he ducked direct answers. His wife, Melania, did not attend the bash. The best costume, according to guests, “was a man dressed as an ‘old Joe Biden’ with a walker,” our insider added. “That got a hearty laugh.” Ivanka Trump celebrated her birthday with sister Ti...

DOJ considering special counsel if Trump runs in 2024: report

Image
The Justice Department is reportedly discussing the possibility of appointing a special counsel to oversee active federal investigations related to former President Donald Trump if he decides to launch a 2024 campaign.  Trump is being probed by the DOJ over his efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election and for his alleged mishandling of top secret documents stored at his Mar-a-Lago estate. According to reports, Trump is very likely to announce his third presidential run after the Nov. 8 midterm elections.  DOJ officials are debating whether appointing a special counsel would protect the Justice Department from claims that the Biden administration is going after his top political rival, sources told CNN .  The final say will be up to AG Garland, who must also make decisions involving probes into President Biden’s son, Hunter, and Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz. AP The CNN report adds that federal investigators are planning for a surge in activity related t...

'I will very, very, very probably do it again': Trump teases 2024 run in Iowa

Image
Former President Donald Trump came close to announcing a 2024 White House bid at a Thursday night rally in Iowa - which holds the nation's first presidential contest - and on the anniversary of his 2020 election loss.  'And now in order to make our country successful and safe and glorious - I will very, very, very probably do it again,' he said. 'OK? Very, very, very probably. Very, very, very probably.'  He told the riled up Sioux City crowd to 'get ready!' 'That's all I'm telling you, very soon,' he added. Trump also entertained his audience by sharing a gaffe-reel featuring President Joe Biden with supporters, showing footage of the Democrat tripping up Air Force One's stairs and other awkward moments.  Ever the reality TV star, Trump played dramatic and sinister music throughout the final portion of his speech, using a melody associated with the QAnon movement.   Trump was stumping for Iowa Republicans, Sen. Chuck Grassley and Gov....

Trump aide Kash Patel testifies to grand jury investigating Mar-a-Lago docs: report

Image
Kash Patel, a former high-level aide in the Trump administration, testified Thursday in front of a grand jury investigating former President Donald Trump’s handling of White House documents after his presidency, according to a report.  A federal judge ordered Patel to testify and granted him immunity from prosecution on any information provided, according to CNN . The court’s order compelling Patel’s testimony remains under seal and what he told the grand jury is unknown.  “Mr. Patel categorically denies reaching any immunity “deal” with the government. Rather, his testimony was compelled over his objection through the only legal means available to the government — a grant of limited immunity,” a spokesperson for Patel told The Post.  Patel was subpoenaed last month but he reportedly declined to answer questions, invoking his Fifth Amendment right to protection from self-incrimination. Despite the reported immunity granted to Patel, he could...

Jimmy Kimmel threatened to quit if stopped from targeting Trump

Image
Jimmy Kimmel said he threatened to quit his late-night show if he was barred from attacking former President Donald Trump — even though his endless barbs cost him at least half his audience. Kimmel, 54, admitted during a podcast interview that ABC execs “hinted” that he should not go after Republicans every night “around the beginning of this whole Trump thing.” “I just said, ‘If that’s what you want to do, I understand and I don’t begrudge you for it — but I’m not going to do that,'” the host told Sticher’s “The Naked Lunch” podcast Thursday. “‘If you want someone else to host the show, then that’s fine, that’s OK with me — I’m just not gonna do it like that,'” Kimmel recalled he said. The late-night funnyman made the ultimatum despite admitting that the execs were “right.” Jimmy Kimmel said he threatened to quit his late-night show if he was barred from attacking former President Donald Trump. Barack Obama says John Fetterman is fit to serve in Senate

Image
Former President Barack Obama insisted Saturday that Pennsylvania Lt. Gov John Fetterman was fit to serve in the US Senate despite the lingering effects of a stroke suffered in May. Fetterman is facing Republican opponent Dr. Mehmet Oz in a tight contest for the Keystone state’s open Senate seat. “John’s stroke did not change who he is, it didn’t change what he cares about, it didn’t change his values, his heart, his fight,” Obama said during a rally in Pittsburgh. “It doesn’t change who he will represent when he gets to the United States Senate. He’ll represent you. And that’s what you deserve.” Obama told the crowd that they wanted a leader “who knows enough about hardship that when you get knocked down he’s going to be there to help you back up.” “That’s what this election is about,” he said. In a bit of bad timing, Fetterman said at the Pittsburgh rally that he would be proud to be standing with a president who is “100% sedition free...

Alyssa Farah Griffin Dismayed by Prospect of Trump 2024 on ‘The View’: “We Do Not Need to Do this Exercise Again”

Image
Alyssa Farah Griffin is not excited about her former boss’s return to the campaign trail. On this morning’s episode of  The View,  the conservative co-host couldn’t hide her exasperation about former president Donald Trump‘s rumored 2024 White House run. Trump recently told his supporters to “stay tuned” while he was stumping for Marco Rubio in Florida, and teased an upcoming announcement tonight. Although he stepped up for Rubio and fellow republican senate candidate Dr. Oz, he didn’t show the same love for Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, blasting him as “Ron DeSanctimonious.” Griffin, who worked in the Trump White House before stepping down in 2020, said she was “here for the drama between Trump and DeSantis,” before offering a more serious take to the Hot Topics panel. “I will say this: DeSantis doesn’t stand a chance once Trump’s in. I expect Trump is gonna announce on the 14th,” Griffin said of Trump’s presidential plans. “He may announce sooner than that, but he’s runni...
