Erika Jayne says she was joking about PK, Dorit Kemsley breakup

Image
Erika Jayne is backtracking on her comments about Dorit and Paul “PK” Kemsley’s marriage. After PK shaded Jayne on Instagram for claiming his marriage was on the rocks, the “Pretty Mess” singer commented on his post claiming it was all in good fun. “When did you get so sensitive? You know damn well I was joking..” the reality star wrote. Erika Jayne claims she was joking about friends PK and Dorit Kemsley’s potential split. Instagram/theprettymess Over the weekend, Jayne predicted her “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” co-stars would be the next Bravolebrities to divorce during a panel at BravoCon. After being asked which relationship was headed to “Splitsville,” the 51-year-old initially dodged the question, saying she felt “bad.” However, she quickly changed her tune and marched to centerstage before revealing “Dorit and PK.” PK and Dorit have both spoken out about Jayne’s comments. Giant Christmas ornaments wrecks havoc on London street

Image
These holiday decorators really got the ball rolling with an early display. A larger-than-life Christmas set-up was transformed into a dangerous game of dodgeball when heavy winds dislodged giant baubles, sending them tumbling down a London street. A video posted to TikTok and obtained by the Telegraph shows the massive silver balls rolling and bouncing down Tottenham Court Road early Monday morning as smaller cars dodge the enormous spheres. The first ball rolls across the street and smacks into a post, sending it airborne down the road after shedding a shiny silver coating. A second silver ball somersaults down the street behind the first one in a scene that elicits a giant-sized pinball machine. A video from another angle shows the balls rolling into one another. The wild episode came as the Met Office issued a strong wind warning across parts of the United Kingdom. The country was battered by Storm Claudio with winds howling...

Mariah Carey, Martha Stewart spar over skipping Thanksgiving

Image
Ho-ho-hold on a second. Martha Stewart called out Mariah Carey for rushing to celebrate Christmas before Thanksgiving festivities have taken place. “Mariah, you know me, I am a traditionalist with a twist,” the lifestyle mogul, 81, said on “The Today Show” earlier this week. “And you cannot give up Thanksgiving just ’cause you don’t like turkey!” Stewart added, “I love turkey, and many, many other people like turkey, so do not think that we are going to give up Thanksgiving just because you may say so.” The “Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party” alum was likely miffed due to Carey, 52, posting a video on Instagram on Tuesday that showed herself transitioning from Halloween right into Christmas just one day after the spooky holiday. The “All I Want for Christmas Is You” singer first appeared in the clip dressed in a black latex outfit and witch’s hat while riding an exercise bike, and then she changed into a festive red outfit as he...

Striking NHS nurses to give 'Christmas level of service'

Image
Unprecedented NHS nursing strikes will mean patients only receive a 'bank holiday' level of service this winter. Vital cancer and kidney disease treatments and routine operations could be axed as thousands of health workers walk out over pay.  The Royal College of Nursing (RCN) is due to publish the results of its ballot on strike action later this week, but a large majority are understood to have voted in favour of the strike.  It is the first time the RCN has balloted all of its 300,000 members for strike action in its 106-year history.  The RCN is demanding nurses receive a cost-of-living pay rise of 5 per cent above inflation,  which currently sits at 12.3 per cent.  This would grant the average nurse, who earns roughly £35,600 each year, an extra £6,150 annually. Senior health sources said the NHS will operate as if it is Christmas Day on all strike days, with elective treatments scrapped — though emergency care will go ahead. They warned the action may exacerbate the be...
