Erika Jayne is backtracking on her comments about Dorit and Paul “PK” Kemsley’s marriage. After PK shaded Jayne on Instagram for claiming his marriage was on the rocks, the “Pretty Mess” singer commented on his post claiming it was all in good fun. “When did you get so sensitive? Knicks viewing Quentin Grimes as 'situational' player right now

Quentin Grimes feels healthy, hasn’t felt discomfort in a week and was able to practice fully the day after making his regular-season debut in the Knicks’ loss to the Hawks on Wednesday night. But that doesn’t mean his role is ready to expand. “He’s situational right now,” coach Tom Thibodeau said Thursday. “But we’ll take a look at it.” Grimes only played in the final minutes on Wednesday after the result had been decided, as Cam Reddish maintained his spot with the second unit. Thibodeau said he considered going to Grimes to defend Hawks All-Star Dejounte Murray but opted against it. Murray poured in 36 points. Knicks' rare lineup pairing sparks much-needed win over 76ers

PHILADELPHIA — Desperate times called for desperate measures, and Tom Thibodeau certainly coached that way.  Thibodeau shook up the Knicks’ starting lineup. He went small. He even gave the Julius Randle-Obi Toppin pairing a long look.  The result was a much-needed victory over the 76ers, a rally from 12 points down in the final quarter engineered by Toppin and Randle. Toppin, finally given extended minutes, hit the go-ahead 3-pointer on a Randle dish with 1:25 left, and the Knicks snapped a three-game losing streak against the short-handed Sixers, 106-104, at Wells Fargo Center.  Joel Embiid was out with the flu and the 76ers were playing without a true center, so Thibodeau went to Randle and Toppin together. They duo helped the Knicks rally after a shoddy performance up until that point. PHILADELPHIA — Even though mediocre teams are never supposed to win on the road against superior opponents, the Knicks had absolutely no choice but to win Friday. They were not exactly facing the Julius Erving-Moses Malone 76ers.  In fact, they weren’t even facing the Joel Embiid-James Harden 76ers. With Philadelphia’s two franchise players out, and with the deep, rough-and-tumble Eastern Conference offering no free passes, the Knicks needed to prove to themselves — and to everyone else — that they could at least sink a five-foot uphill putt after it had been practically conceded.  They did not hit that putt dead center. No, it did a 360 spin around the cup before falling at last, leaving the visitors at Wells Fargo Center looking more relieved than joyful at the final horn Friday night.  No surprise there. A male Knicks fan hit a long-distance shot during the Knicks-Celtics game Saturday night at Madison Square Garden — and won a Kia car. The fan, who was wearing a John Starks No. 3 jersey, banked in a half-court shot during the third quarter and then chest-bumped with RJ. Barrett, sending the Garden crowd into a frenzy. Despite that good karma, the Knicks came up short, falling 133-118 to the Celtics and are now 4-5 on the season.
