After PK shaded Jayne on Instagram for claiming his marriage was on the rocks, the “Pretty Mess” singer commented on his post claiming it was all in good fun. “When did you get so sensitive? A Democratic candidate for the state House in Washington is involved in an ongoing feud with his family about the veracity of his military service. The father of Clyde Shavers, Democratic candidate for Washington state’s 10th Legislative District, claims in a recently published letter that his son lied about the details of his service in the U.S. Navy, according to  local outlet Herald Net . Clyde Shavers has run on a platform emphasizing his service in the U.S. Navy, claiming to have been installed as a nuclear submarine officer — a position which requires a great amount of training and three separate courses. “Clyde was never a submarine officer, not even for a day,” Brett Shavers wrote. South Dakota Senate candidate Joel Koskan charged with felony child abuse

A Republican running for South Dakota state Senate was charged with felony child abuse Thursday for allegedly grooming and raping his young family member for years, according to local reports. Joel Koskan, third-time candidate for state senate, allegedly groomed and abused the young girl for at least six years starting in 2014, court documents obtained by the Mitchell Republic . Koskan, 44, could also face rape, sexual contact with a child under the age of 16 and aggravated incest-related child, according to a probable cause statement the outlet cited. The senate-hopeful began grooming the child when she was 12 years old by having her sit on his lap, kissing her and giving long hugs, according to the court docs. The child thought the behavior was “‘normal things’ that families were supposed to do,” an investigator wrote in the document. For two days as world leaders congratulated the new president-elect, Inacio “Lula” da Silva,” and Brazilian truck drivers loyal to Jair Bolsonaro snarled urban capitals to protest the poll, the defeated president “brooded” in the presidential palace in Brasilia, according to the Sunday Times of London. Bolsonoaro, 67, also approached Brazil’s military, seeking support for a plan that Lula’s win could be challenged on the grounds of the former president’s previous convictions, CNN Brazil reported. The former two-term president also served time in prison on corruption charges. Guided by his chief strategist, his son Carlos Bolsonaro, 39, the outgoing president also tried to set up a meeting with Brazil’s supreme court judges to discuss his own immunity from prosecution. Dave Chappelle Set To Return As Host Of 'Saturday Night Live'

Controversial comedian Dave Chappelle is set to return as host of Saturday Night Live on November 12. SNL confirmed during Saturday’s broadcast that Chappelle will host the episode that will air on NBC just four days after the country votes in federal, state and local midterm elections. Rap duo Black Star will join Chappelle as the musical guest. Chappelle has hosted the post-election episode of the show before, first visiting the show after the 2016 election and returning in 2020. In 2021, Chappelle stirred controversy with his Netflix special The Closer , in which he made homophobic and transphobic comments. Although this created inner turmoil at Netflix, the streamer’s co-CEO and chief content officer Ted Sarandos defended Chappelle’s right to wade into incendiary territory.
