The skies turned “Bluey” on Saturday as Macy’s tested their newest balloons for the upcoming Thanksgiving Day Parade.
The Bluey balloon, from the popular Disney Junior cartoon about a 6-year-old Australian Heeler dog and her canine family, will make its debut at the 96th annual event.
“Here she is! Sneak peek at the #BlueyBalloon,” the show wrote Saturday on Twitter, alongside photos of the new balloon, which features Bluey with her arms raised.
Bluey took flight during the annual Balloonfest, during which Macy’s tested their newest additions at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ.
Other Thanksgiving Day Parade newcomers will include “Diary of a Wimpy Kid,” from the beloved children’s books; Dino and Baby Dino, a bright green pair of dinosaurs; and the one-eyed Minion, Stuart.

Also making his debut this year at the parade, which will be airing live on Nov. 24 from 9 am to noon on NBC and streaming on Peacock, is a balloonicle of Striker, the U.S. Soccer Star, by Fox Sports.
Hundreds of balloon handlers and a flight management team were on hand to handle the test run, Macy’s said.
The tradition of featuring balloons at the parade started in 1927.
