Olivia Culpo has revisited the past.
The 30-year-old model dished on her ill-fated relationship with Nick Jonas during the premiere episode of TLC’s “The Culpo Sisters,” revealing she thought the pair’s romance would stand the test of time.
The couple broke up in 2015 after two years of dating, and it seems as though their split was a painful one to digest.
After being pressed by producers of the reality show, Culpo reflected on her romance with the “Jealous” singer.
“Do I have to talk about that?” said Culpo, who was crowned Miss Universe in 2012. “I did date Nick and that was a very formative experience for me.”
“I moved to L.A. with him. I had no brand, no money and I was in love. That was great right, but when he broke up with me, I was kind of left with no sense of identity,” she explained.
“My whole identity was in him, which is a very common story of a young person in love,” she continued. “I thought we were going to get married, I thought all the things, and I just remember night after night looking up at my ceiling in my apartment that I couldn’t afford thinking to myself how am I going to pay my rent.”

Culpo opened up about her money struggles at the time, adding, “I couldn’t even afford my groceries. It was a serious, pivotal moment for me, but it was something that taught me that you can’t give up.”
The pair ultimately parted ways due to “distance.”
The pair struck up an unlikely romance in May 2019 and took a vacation to Mexico together the following July.
Culpo soon became a fixture at Panthers games and their relationship has been going from strength to strength since. McCaffrey even named his boat after Culpo in a true sign of love.
Jonas also moved on following the split, marrying Priyanka Chopra in 2018. The pair, who have a 10-year age gap, welcomed their first child, daughter Malti, via surrogate in January.
TV personality and panellist David McCall went on to point out how Rhino seemed "humble". She said: "Rhino has been particularly emotive. There are people who completely draw you in. "It’s lucky for Rhino, actually, that they can pull some emotion out of the bag, because it's very, very hard in that costume to give us anything at all. They are massive, and they are quite humble.
